Hi, my name is Aga. Clients come to my practice to resolve burdensome, disruptive, perpetuating symptoms of trauma. 

 

Did you know that substance abuse and other coping mechanisms, dissociative behavior or dysfunctional relationship patterns are all result of past trauma? Perhaps you have been blaming yourself all this time for not being brave enough, strong enough, smart enough for being such “failure” at life, yet there is so much more to your story than what has been said to you by your family, and people who participated in your upbringing, than you realize. Confusion is most likely a big factor in your interpersonal experiences. Most likely it has been used as your own self-defense system. So you can protect yourself from what you think might be even more difficult than the position you are in right now…your own raw and emotional self. The unloved, unprotected, abused inner child that needs your care and you are unfit to be the self-parent, your own nurturing source of love and appreciation. The unimaginable humility of feeling abandoned, unsupported, excluded, used and discarded is the last thing you want to “serve yourself” on daily basis. More than likely, you don’t even know who you are at the core of your being. Would you like to unearth and experience the REAL you, the true being that you are? Are you tired of living like an automaton? Have you suffered enough to summon a bit of courage to invest in your mental wellness?

I specialize in holistic trauma therapy, helping you overcome feelings of anxiety, process difficult emotions and build confidence, so that you can live your best life. My style is empathetic, dynamic and interactive, focusing on mind-body-emotions connection.

I often use tools like somatic therapy, neuroscience, hypnotherapy, neuro – linguistic - programming and energy psychology. The aim of these techniques is to dislodge old patterns and bring the mind, emotions and body together so you can experience life with authentic ease. 

 

I am certified hypnotist by National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), a Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique Practitioner (QHHT), and a Master Healer trained in a Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition. Since 2012, having worked with thousands of clients, I have developed my own therapeutic work, integrating holistic trauma therapy and trauma-healing modalities, including regression techniques; in order to effectively take trauma-healing therapy beyond merely reprocessing memories and desensitizing, to a more meaningful soul experience.

My path toward self-realization began with meditation. Learning Vipassana technique and practicing daily, allowed for the old subconscious patterns of the mind to be brought to the surface and transformed into new, harmonious arrangements. Along with emotional healing and activating the subtle body, came a passion for trauma therapy and studying the nuanced aspects of the psyche.​

My approach to holistic trauma therapy consists of a synthesis of Eastern Healing Traditions and modalities, as well as hypnotherapy, NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), neuromodulation, Jungian Archetypal Psychology Principles, dream work and elements of shamanism. Trauma healing techniques are based on principles that there is a somatic address of every difficult/traumatic/incomplete event and by pointing to where you feel it (in the body), you can learn how to safely "re-file" your adverse childhood or/and life experiences.

Having a dedicated and caring therapist who can walk you through improving your mental health can often lead you to the growth and life satisfaction, you are looking for.

I am someone who has expertise not only through years of obtaining professional knowledge and holding space for others to heal, but also through personal experience. I've personally experienced prolonged anxiety, many years of depression and insomnia, as a result of several unhealthy patterns present during my childhood. As a result of my own healing, I have developed a unique set of skills and tools, which I have used in my own healing journey.

You will learn how to uncover root causes of mind-body-emotions fluctuations and transform old patterns that may be keeping you from reaching your goals and living your best life.

My therapeutic method is one of wholeness. Rather than finding temporary relief of symptoms, I assist clients in creating lasting healing and growth. The unconscious mind is made up of all your learnings over a lifetime, many of which you have forgotten, but which serve you in your automatic functioning. In my approach, I actively utilize the notion that in everyday life, consciousness is in a continual state of flux between the general reality orientation and the momentary micro-dynamics of trance. Learning how to maximize and prolong these natural states is a key to effective and often rapid positive changes. Hypnosis for example, provides a tool with which to communicate with the unconscious mind and access the reservoir of resources held within.

Will My Sessions Be in Person?

Virtual therapy from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a stable WiFi connection, a phone, laptop, or tablet with a camera, and a pair of headphones.

 

Telehealth is an amazing platform to utilize, even when we aren’t in a global pandemic.

How Long Until I Reach My Goals?

Building a strong therapeutic relationship involves your therapist getting to know you, your goals, values, and challenges. Safe and ethical professional connection will also build confidence and trust as you get to know me. A strong therapeutic relationship takes time, and everyone is different. The beauty of investing in this kind of partnership is that you will practice on a micro scale all the skills needed outside of the therapeutic context.

 

There may be several milestones throughout your healing journey, where you can start to witness progress and see your goals beginning to take shape.

 

Healing and integrative therapy work has tremendous benefits, although the path can have some difficult moments. My methods are not focused on discussing unpleasant aspects of your life on regular basis and creating abreactions, however occasionally as the suppressed energy of past experiences surfaces (to be freed from your neurology), you may experience uncomfortable feelings like sadness, guilt, anger, frustration, loneliness, and helplessness. Emotions are an integral part of the journey of the hero; they “oil” the path and allow you to access and anchor within the feelings of freedom, love, strength and security. Other benefits include better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and significant reductions in feelings of distress. Not only you will learn to identify your emotions and talk about them without blaming/projecting them on others, but also be able to relate better to people in your life and connect authentically. But there are no guarantees of what you will experience.

Am I Expected to Do Work in Between Therapy Sessions?

You will be provided with knowledge and relevant tools throughout your healing journey (each session is recorded and is yours to keep). It is up to you to use your tools and newly acquired knowledge in between sessions to receive the full benefits of therapy. You will be given playful assignments in between appointments, to gently activate dormant aspect of your being and inspire you.
